Getting ready for Christmas...

I took a bunch of pictures over the last couple of days with my new camera, testing out new angles and lighting and all that fun stuff. I think I got some pretty good pictures out of it. Yesterday, we had a family photoshoot with a photographer friend of mine and I'm hoping to get those pictures edited and posted for you soon. In the meantime, here's MY pictures for your enjoyment!

This pickle is part of a German tradition in our family. Mom or Dad hides the pickle ornament on the tree and on Christmas Eve, the kids try to find where it is hanging. The first to find the pickle gets to open a special gift on Christmas Eve.
